Re-arranging my clamp storage.
#9
Clamp storage is a big deal as we all know.  Stay in the game long enough and you
end up with piles of the darn things.

Mine were out of control. Had my pipe clamps on this for several years now:

As you can see, some Bessey clamps started to creep in.
Then my brother in law texted me one day with a garage sale that
was going on in his city.  Long story short, I ended up with
a LOT more Besseys.

So, after searching a bit, I found a gentleman on youTube that had
the design I wanted:

You will notice there are no pipe clamps, but instead two rows
of Besseys, in the same space the pipe clamps had been.
So, the pipe clamps dropped to the floor:

Still have to tuck the F style clamps to the right of those two,
on the adjoining wall. But it is a lot easier to get the clamp
I want without moving several others!

The pipe clamp rack is a bit tippy. My plan is to bolt it to the wall.
Priority job for tomorrow.

Well done!

You'll find it more enjoyable being in the shop if you're not "visually assaulted" by a pile of clamps just challenging to get to the one you need.  I know, because that was my situation.

Well, got the rest of them stored better as well.

Got the floor rack for the pipe clamps bolted/strapped to
the wall. No more tip.

Modified the smaller racks and mounted them to the
adjoining wall for the quick clamps and f clamps.
Wood hand screws on large wood pegs.

It strikes me, I should have got a 'before' picture, but you

guys know how that goes!

Anyway, during a quarantine/rainy couple of days of head
scratching I have every clamp in the shop accessible but
out of the way and OFF the darn floor!!

The final result:

Now, if I can finally get my act together and make a better saw till..............

 grin..............
