I am in the process of adding a bathroom in my basement. i have always been told the Zoeller is the "go to" pump for sewage pumps but liberty pumps makes a kit that includes a good looking basin. Does anyone have any experience that would deter me from buying the Liberty kit

I have no experience with Liberty pumps. I installed two Zoeller products in the basement of my old house. The pump that is used for the washing machine is still there and still working after nearly 15 years. The Qwik-Jon ejection pump (not grinder) is still there and working after 10 years. google the qwik jon 103. I'm not sure how the Liberty kit would be hooked up to a toilet. The qwik john the toilet sits on top of the tank. whatever you get, install it with unions (or Ferncos) and include a check-valve or ball valve on the waste side in case you have to service it.

No experience with their sewage pump system, but I installed two of their sump pumps 3 or 4 years ago. Low amp draw and an excellent level switch. Very impressed.
