I’ve had a Mirka sander for years. And have quite a bit of sandpaper with the standard 8 hole pattern. I recently bought a festool ets 125 without realizing that the hole pattern is different. Does anybody make a pad that is compatible with regular pans for this sander?

I converted a 6" Porter Cable (sticky) pad to my festool, to use Mirka 6" paper.
As far as I know, Festool is in their own world making pads different to fit only their sanders and paper. I don't know if anyone else is making anything to fit Festool.

No.

And how did you handle the center hole that pushes air under the pad to the outer collection holes ?

There are quite a few making paper with the festool pattern. Klingspor, INDASA, and a host of little known players selling all over the internet. In addition, any net type abrasive will work with the addition of a festool protection pad. Mirka, Klingspor, and Freud, all make this type abrasive. Depot carries freud for about 50 cents a disc. 3M's cubitron discs will work too.
