Ridgid Oscillating Sander Table
#5
Looking for ideas on a secondary table for the Ridgid oscillating sander. I want to make a table that is bigger with more miter slot options. I don't want to make a full cabinet more of a new top. Thank you!

Do you want it to pivot like the original? Are you sure the pivot points on that machine can support the additional weight of a larger table?

I don't want it to pivot. I haven't thought about how to secure it, hoping if someone built one on here that they would share how they connected theirs.

I think what you want , and what's practical are too far apart in this case.

I'd suggest you re-examine pulling the drive unit / spindle and mounting them in a new cabinet - one that will support the larger table AND the workings.
