make and model might help. A similar repair on my old Kenmore cost $5 in parts and about 10 minutes. Not knowing some basics, yours could go up to several hundred and many hours. There's this unexplainable phenomena on the web called u-tube, or something like that, where people post videos of how they fix things. Sometimes there's an ad you have to watch for a few seconds, but I've never actually paid for the show. I like these shows because, at least the good ones, tell you what tools you'll need, and sometimes explain how to release that concealed clip or how to not easily break that irreplaceable part.
But seriously, what's the make and model? Pretty sure someone here will help. (possibly me! )
