WOODTURNING TOOL - Robert Sorby Deluxe Sharpening Jig
#5
Posting this for a friend who doesn't use computers. He has changed to using the Oneway Wolverine System. This item is barely used and includes original box.
Robert Sorby #447 Deluxe Universal Sharpening System

from the Sorby website: "Deluxe Universal Sharpening System (ref. 447) which combines the best features of the Fingernail Profiler (ref. 445) and the Universal Sharpening System (ref. 446). The reason is that in one unit there is the option of a wide range of woodworking tools. It is compact, flexible, solidly constructed and easy to use. It takes all the guesswork out of returning tools to a more usable condition. Sharp tools make work so much more of a pleasure and take away a lot of frustrations. Always remember the key to good sharpening is little and often – do not wait until tools are blunt and practically unusable."

These are NOT included but it looks like a flexible system that can be expanded with other ccessories that you purchase separately including: Jig Adapter Table (Ref: 447JAT)The Jig Adapter table fits directly onto the table section of the Universal (ref: 446) and Deluxe Universal (Ref: 447) Sharpening systems. Using the four bolts provided. This additional table allows for the use of four additional jigs. 1. The Skew Jig (Ref: PESKEW), perfect for sharpening skew angles. 2. The Standard Gouge Jig (Ref: PEVB), A V Block that assists keeping spindle and bowl gouges in-line when a standard grind is required. 3. The Woodworking Chisel Jig (Ref: PESQ), which allows for a keen straight edge on your woodworking chisels. 4. The Woodworker’s Square Jig (Ref: PESQW), which affords even greater accuracy when sharpening woodworking chisels.
