It's time to part with my last Kanna. 70 mm Tasai Kuro - Kasumi blade. Kanji translates to Timberworks. Dai is made of Bocote. The dai sides are 90 degrees to sole, photo just came out odd. This plane is as new with only a dozen or so passes taken. I'm selling because I've made the switch back to Krenov & Lie Nielsen planes. Asking $500.00, includes shipping to address in contiguous USA. Buyer pays Paypal fee.

I'm always fascinated when I watch people use these (ie. say, Ishitani on YouTube) but I'm afraid of actually owning and using one for fear of not being able to tune it etc..
Not to hijack your thread, but why did you "switch back" ?

I like being to change the radius easily on my Lie Nielsen's & Krenov style using a Tormek. Something you can't easily do with a Japanese blade. That, and just want a change.
