Ultrasonic pest control recommendation needed

We use the Victor M325 mouse trap.   You can't get any more basic of a trap.   Unless there is a peanut allergy we use peanut butter as bait.   Put lots of traps out, just a bit of bait on them.   You don't need a lot.    Set them for a hair trigger.  In the average house we set traps at, we typically put 20 in the basement and 20 in the attic.

If trees could scream, would we be so cavalier about cutting them down? We might, if they screamed all the time, for no good reason.

Yes, resurrecting this thread, but just for a new info source.  This subject comes up from time to time.

I was researching the net for info on how to deal with rats...they've moved in under our chicken coop.  Came across the a YouTube channel from a guy who seems very knowledgeable; he puts various rodent "solutions" to the test.  Here's what he had to say about ultrasonic pest controls:

Ultrasonic Pest Repellers

Other vids on the channel deal with various trap configurations, so if you have rodent issues, you may want to surf that channel.
