Tormek sharpening system and accessories.   I priced everything out (best as I can) on Amazon to get a baseline price. Those prices are listed below.
  • Tormek 2000 (later version is the T-8. That is priced on Amazon currently at $750. Because this is the older version, let's say 50% off the price for mine - $375

  • Woodturners sharpening kit TNT-708. Amazon = $415

  • Axe Jig SVA-170. Amazon = $25.95

  • Knife Jig SVM-45. Amazon = $43

  • Long Knife Jig SVM-140. Amazon = $63
Let's take 40% off of the accessories.
  • Tormek @ $375
  • TNT-708 at $249
  • SVA-170 at $15.57
  • SVM-45 at $25.80
  • SVM-140 at $37.80
Total = $703.17. Let's call it an even $700.  Price reduced to $600

I also have a Carter "Perfect Sphere" wood turning jig for sphere turning that I'd like to sell. Sadly, that never came out of the box. I was intending to do some epoxy / resin spheres. I find them fascinating!

Sorry there are no pictures. I don't know how to add them to a post. I can send picture via email if you are interested.

Hey Chipster,
What are you looking to get for the Perfect Sphere, and what size lathe (swing) is the included post?
Thanks,

I suspect that the issue is a concern over what it might cost to ship this.

Any idea what this would cost to ship to VA (say 23666)?

I suspect that West Coast shipping would probably be similar.

Having shipped a lot of heavy stuff, my estimate is USPS would likely charge around $50-55 from Harrison MI to your zip (assuming 40lb weight); UPS tends to have better rates for heavier packages so they might be a tad cheaper..... which is not all that bad given the weight.
