I'm in the middle of remodeling my bathroom. I plan to install a tile floor. I don't want to get too fancy, but I want to have either a border or a "rug" in the tile so it's not just a plain floor.
In some pictures I saw, most borders run the edge of the room, even though they are hidden under fixtures like toilets, vanities, etc. I think that would look OK, but it wouldn't be visible where the vanity will be.
Or I could do a "rug," just a rectangular thing in the middle, but I don't know how this would look, since it won't run the entire length of the tub.
Thoughts on what looks better? Thanks!
(The long narrow rectangle on the left represents the baseboard heat.)
