Hi folks,

I've been working on a few Foley machines for a few months now, and been pretty successful at rehabbing and using them. I've been leaning heavily on online resources, including Mark Stansbury's blog, FoleyFiler.

WHile I have many of the machines up and running, I find that I'm in need of a couple of the gauges that are used to calibrate the settings.

I'm looking for the following:

*gauge for setting up the Model 352 saw setter, part number 352058, "Feed Mechanism Adjustment Gauge"

And also this...

*gauge for setting the carrier bar height for the retoother (different than the gauge for the filer). It should look like this one in the top left frame:

If you have either of these, I'd like to either buy it, or ask you to photograph it next to a rule or against graph paper so that I can create my own.

If you can help, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks in advance!

I may, I have to dig. If I do, I'll send you a measured drawing, photos, and a CAD file.

I called John. He didn't return my last call.

Maybe he didn't get the message???

I've got a bunch of Foley stuff & I'll dig through it over the weekend. If I find anything, I'll post. I do recall seeing somewhere/here simple sketches for making some of the setting gauges, but as I said, I can't recall where I saw them.

I bought my Foley stuff about 4 or 5 or 6 years ago, messed around with it pretty intensively for a couple of months, but I have not done much with it since.

I don't have a ruler handy - If you print this PDF at full scale, it should be accurate

Thanks Leif, Tony, and the rest of you! That's the gauge that goes with the sharpeners, and I already own two of those gauges.

Jonathan sent me a measured diagram of the gauge for the retoother, and I can forward that PDF to anyone who wants it.

That covers 2 of the 3 gauges that I need.

I am still looking for the gauge that goes with the Foley Setter. It looks like the picture above, but here it is again:

If anyone has one of these that you can photograph or get measurements of, please let me know. I'm not the only one in need of this gauge. I know of 2 others who want them. If you have a spare, I'd be willing to buy it.

Thanks again!

Greg
