Having problems with my PM jointer. When I turn it on the motor won't spin. It sounds like it wants to but the cutter head won't spin. Almost like something was jamming the cutter head. If I manually spin the motor and head via the belts and then turn the motor on it works. And if I turn the motor on immediately after I turn it off it works. But if I let site for some time, I have to manually spin the motor again.

Sounds like the starter cap is bad.

Sounds like the capacitors are weak.
Both start & run.

I'm not really mechanically inclined. Any pics or link of walk through of the process?

I can do it, but I can't explain how to do it. I'm sure someone will be along that can do it.
