I've had three different ones on my saw. The first was the shop built Badger Pond basket with a 3" hook up. From there I went with a Shark Gaurd with a 4" connection. It practically caught everything and was pretty convenient as well. Then I snagged a used Excalibur (the first iteration) and that's what is on my saw now. The Excalibur is a very good unit, though I really did like the Shark just a little better. I had threatened to put the Shark back on, but then I sold my saw and let the Shark go with it. I changed the Excalibur over to the new saw and have stuck with it. It doesn't quite catch everything, but it's close enough for me to call it good.
I started with absolutely nothing. Now, thanks to years of hard work, careful planning, and perseverance, I find I still have most of it left.

I didn't know Grizzly made one, but it looks like the first generation Excalibur with an improved guard. I'll be curious as well to see if anyone has one. Looks like a nice guard at a fair price. If Lee would make a Shark Guard that would bolt directly to one of these systems, I believe I would quickly order both.

I have the Excalibur. The hood is VERY effective, but this is only half of the equation. Just as important is the DC and piping system to which you have it attached. With my 2hp cyclone and 6" mains, I can safely work indoors. So much so, that I can immediately tell if I forget to turn on the DC or the appropriate gate, when I start making a cut.
