Bought a Delta 37-315 without a motor a year ago and finally got time to rehab it.
School shop veteran, three or four layers of paint (last one may have been latex house paint, rolled on ) but worth saving.
Picked up a Shelix head from the factory (30 miles away) Got it installed.
Stripped, wirebrushed, sanded, polished, waxed, reassembled and finally got the power to it.
And it ran backwards.
Working on the motor was so much easier when all the cast iron parts were off.
