I have a design question.

I am making 2 cherry bedside cabinets to match some of the other pieces I have made. The cabinets will have one drawer at the top with a door below. I am planing on adding a beaded detail around the drawers. I will cut a rabbet around the outer edge of the drawer front and add strips of cherry that have the bead detail so that the bead will be proud of the drawer front. This will match a dresser I made several years ago.

Should I had a bead to the opening for the frame and panel doors? If I do add a bead detail, I will add strips with the bead to the case itself and not the door.

Just unsure if I really need the bead detail on the lower doors.

One vote for the bead detail around the doors.
