Moen shower problem

Replace the cartridge in Moen shower control mechanism. Must have reassembled it wrong.. Control knob is upside down (easy fix) but it only turns 30 to 4t degrees.
Does dispense hot and cold water. What did I do wrong and how do I fix it? Thnx.

Could it be as simple as turning it rightside up?

Remove stem and rotate 180*,re install, piece of cake.
