Dremel? Foredom? for knife making

I am currently working on a couple knife projects and am including thin brass sheet accents. I attempted to use a thin hacksaw blade to cut some .032 strip stock, but became too difficult to cut without bending the strip.

I'm wondering if a dremel or foredom tool with a rotary cutter would be more appropriate for cutting brass, CRES and nickle silver materials better.

Any opinions on either?

I was also thinking about using the tool for creating Santa Clara/San Ildefonso style patterns in african blackwood segmented turnings as well. The Foredom seems like it might be easier to use for such applications, plus it's made in the US.

A jewelry saw can be useful.
I use one to cut coins along with a scroll saw.

I have used scissors on very thin brass, the "Wiss M1" tin snips, and a heavy duty paper cutter I used to cut vinyl siding and vinyl flooring.

My favorite is the paper cutter for straight cuts.
