To add to the other large aircraft carrier tools I have a 1942 36" Oliver 173-E  scroll saw it is somewhat rare and a very heavy machine. It is located in Milton, WV price is $1300 I will ship from a business with a dock if need be.

Oliver 173-E serial number 54829. Everything works as it should and nothing is broke or cracked. The light does work it is powered by a 1 1/2 hp  855 rpm 3ph motor. I can load with a forklift or a overhead hoist.

I am trying to add photos but it just leaves a link instead of showing the photo. I will keep messing with it.

Different browsers are producing different results depending on the image code used.  I used the code from this site and it worked for every one I have tried so far.

You don't need this part of the code.   alt="Smiley face" height="42" width="42"

Add your photo link in place of smiley.gif

Spence, Is the Oliver scroll saw used almost like a bandsaw or can you also do delicate scrolling?

You can do precise scrolling as well. I think the big advantage to these machines where the ability to do architectural designs to houses. It is a 1942 model. I have no way of weighing it but the manual suggests that it Is1700lbs. The table is almost 3'x3'
