Next up is a Type 13 #4, very desirable; Type 13 ('25-'28), 90%++ japanning, all original and correct for type, rosewood is lovely, metal and mechanical are 100%, good sole and mouth; fully machined frog like the SW types, I like these because Stanley gave a darn about quality for these types, and this one is no exception.  I flattened the back of the iron and gave it a quick sharpening on the tormek with the following results:
