Very nice, really cool design. I like it when people think out of the box, so to speak and make some neat stuff. She should be impressed and pleased.
I no longer build museums but don't want to change my name. My new job is a lot less stressful. Life is much better.

The curl looks good on my screen, if it popped more I would need to wear safety glasses to look at it
LOML collects old cast, and brass plate irons. Many of the handles look a lot like your turning.
End of the day it only matters if the GF likes it, and I imagine she will
