I am back

Hi everyone

I took off some time to recover from my Heart Attack & Quad Bypass Surgery
It has taken me nine months to recover to the point I feel I can continue on with my woodworking

So here is my first real project to start off with

I decided to build a Miter Sled for my table saw
I have always wanted one but never set down to build one

After looking at what others built, I decided to design and build my own version
and try to incorporate as many of the features that I could

So here is the big reveal

I think I figured out what was wrong with the pictures

For some reason, I can not see the pictures today so I am adding them to this response







The slots that are on the right side of the sled are to allow the right side of the table to shift, to open up the slot for a dado blade
The slot on the far right is for an 12" extension
As seen in the pictures, the sled is currently setup for cutting Wedges for segmented turning
I still have to build the Miter fence for doing 45 degree cuts

Wow, that's impressive. What's the slot for on the left side of the front fence? It doesn't appear to go all the through.

Welcome back, Del!  I'm glad your recovery has progressed well enough to get back in the shop.  That's a really nice sled, and it looks like you have plenty of features built in to make life a lot easier.
