I'm in the middle of a complete tear down/clean all the nooks and crannies on my good HVLP sprayer.  Yep, lots of nooks and crannies full of paint
Rolleyes

I'd probably use my sprayer more if it didn't take so long to clean it after use.

I've see ultrasonic units clean some tough stuff -- I'm wondering if they could do spray guns?

There should only be paint between the cup and the tip. That's only about a one inch long area, if that. Is something wrong with the gun? Blown seals?

Good point -- Now that I've got it good and clean I'll try spraying something and see if the finish goes places it shouldn't.
