I have no hope for tools that have been through a Goodwill. I once brought a good chop saw to local Goodwill, was about $250 new at Lowes initially. No Kapex, but useful. The guy that got it just threw it on concrete like it was a bag of shoes. I was pissed.

I was going to bid on it, but didn't because their pick up days/times are too restrictive for me: Monday to Friday 9am-12pm & 1pm-4pm .  I wouldn't have been able to pick it up, even if I had won without taking a day off of work.
