I got an email from info@woodnet-projects.info asking me to go to a website and comment on their Pine Trunk project. I'm inclined to think it is not legit and I'll not go there until I learn otherwise. Anyone else get this email?

Spam for sure. The site seems to be associated with the infamous TedsWoodworking site, which is well known for selling a package of plans that are either freely available on the web or proprietary. At least one of the plans they are offering is copied from WoodSmith.

I wonder if our hosts have a trademark on the name “Woodnet”. If so, this site is infringing on their trademark. In any case they should be able to go after them for offering plans from their magazine.
