Removed a couple of fairly large branches from a black walnut tree. Have half a dozen 3' lengths, 8 to 10 inch diameter, that I'd like to see get put to use. Too small to mill for lumber, but should yield some good bowl turning material. Asking $5 each, three for $10, or the bunch for $15. Obviously this doesn't include shipping. Located east of Forest Lake in Minnesota. Because of the weight - probably over 100 pounds per piece - shipping costs would I'm sure be prohibitive.

You might want to try a local turning club.  Here is a good resource....

Most turners source their stock for free from downed trees.  We just had a bad storm blow through Indiana and I've got access to so much silver maple right now, it's not funny.
