Rotozip Question

I have an early 2000's model Rotozip, which still works very well. I had purchased an angle grinding attachment for it (see pic below), for fine metal cut-offs and it worked quite well.

However, the last grinding/cutting wheel I put in there is stuck and I don't seem to be able to get it off - the bolt simply won't come loose. I tried the usual (WD40), but with no success. The next thing I was planning was to soaking the whole attachment in kerosene. But before doing that, I wanted to know whether anyone had any other suggestion that I could try ? If I finally end up soaking it in kerosene to loosen it, so the bolt holding the grinding wheel can come loose, the lubricant in the gear will be lost. What oil should I then use to lubricate the gear ? Will turbine oil do ? Or should I be using something else ?

Have you taken another look at the manual to make sure you are removing the wheel correctly?

If all else fails, call Bosch.

I would avoid soaking it in kerosene.  If there are lubed parts, the kerosene will dissolve your lube/grease.

The bolt should turn the same direction as the rotation of the wheel to loosen it.
Try an impact wrench.

Then wire brush and grease the bolt working it in and out a few times.
