I am building a fold down/wall mounted work surface for my wife and I need a source for a decent folding leg support.

The legs of the unit will nest into the work surface which folds into the cabinet.

I'd like to get the variety with the angled bracket on one end and the other end would mount to the side of the leg. Something low profile. If I had to relieve part of the leg to mount it, I'd be OK with that. Something with a little heft and quality would be nice. I looked at LV and Woodcraft and Rockler but nothing yet.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Is a hinged folding leg brace what you are looking for?

McMaster carr has some folding legs

Also they have some wall mounted folding brackets you'll need to pick the "lid supports"

The difference in which will depend on what it's intended use will be, and how much weight that will involve. Possibly if we knew more, directed responses could be given.

If metal legs were too utilitarian, and you wanted a wooden look, you could also opt to make legs, and just buy a folding leg bracket
Worst thing they can do is cook ya and eat ya

Thanks,

I think I found a solution

Stanley CD432. A little light but I think it should work.
