Making a walnut dining table. My stock is 4/4 so it mills down to 3/4 inch, but I want the top to appear thicker, so am adding another 3/4 on the underside. It will not have breadboard ends. I cut two inches off each end of the table top, rolled them under and glued them on. Now I have 1 1/5 end grain to smooth off. I assume a router is the tool for the job. Should I use a spiral straight bit? Thanks. -- Peter
