This place has 2", 3", 5", and 6" sanding discs that are like metal screen ones but SOO much better and better price as well.

Here are the 5"

Ken is a great guy and has wonderful products.  I had to figure out what High Grit and low grit meant but the High grit is over 600 grit and low is 600 and under.  I can not say enough good things on this stuff.

Do you use a backer pad with them? You may want to in order to save your hooks on your regular pad.

Glad its my shop I am responsible for - I only have to make me happy.

Mike

I have not thought of a backer pad nor know what they look like.

They go right onto my hook and loop discs on the pad.  I have never had one load up unless it was wet wood and then all I did was take it off and knock the wood paste right off and kept at it.  I thought I would have to get more then the first 10 thinking they would wear out but has not come close with all the flat sanding I have done nor even all the turning I have done which makes it wear faster.

On turning of the first 10 from 2 years ago I only thru one away.

If this keeps up he might go out of business for not selling enough of them.

I should also say they do not leave a sanding pattern like regular sand paper does but blends in really nicely.

Just got the 5" sampler pack, 5 each of 8 different grits from 60 to 600, in the mail today based on your recommendation.  Looking forward to giving them a try.

Thanks!

Thanks, Arlin,

I really need to get some good ones.

The ones that I have from Lowes are terrible.

Your welcome.

What I really like is the higher grits are really nice for flat work and it makes it feel so silky smooth
