Condensation pump safety switch

Don't want to hook up the safety switch wires.. min..will have HVAC tech do this fall. So for now will the pump work without doing anything with the safety switch wires?

 It's just an overfill shutoff, single pole/throw switch and doesn't need connecting in order for the pump operate.
