Won't clamp down so took clamping head off to clean. Now can't get head back on. Any suggestions on?

Putting them back on isn’t exactly straight forward. You have to work the lever and play with the alignment , jiggle it, etc.

They make great spreaders if you need them. Used that feature a couple weeks ago.

I relate to your frustration!!!!  The first time I had to return the head I promised myself I would never do it again...but now it is no big deal.  Positioning the head, trigger, and handle at the same time is a little tricky but you can do it.
