Older japanned  model. The japanning is poor, but mechanically it's very good. Everything moves as it should, and the cutters are in excellent condition.

Cool looking plane! Is that for cutting the tongue part of tongue-and-groove flooring?

It cuts both the matching tongue and the groove. Not just for flooring either. Very cool tool to use.
