Walnut ,Maple , and Purpleheart
about 6 x9 x5 with secret latches and hidden compartment

Very nice!
I like the mother of pearl inlay and attractive combination of woods.
Train to be miserable...
that way when the real misery starts you won't notice.

I do the hole first. then take pieces of shell ,super glued to a nail head, use the nail as a handle. slowly shape on sander, fit sand, fit sand, fit sand. once it fits drop into acetone to release. I also have a dentist magnifier with light to check the fit each time .4 hours later ready to glue in

Beautiful work. Great blend of woods for the contrasts.

Cool touch with the inlay too. Appreciate you sharing.
If you continue to cut corners, you'll end up going in circles!

When you pull up on the right interior of the box the drawer springs out.
and the lid of the box only opens when the knob it pulled out and pushed into one of the holes in the walnut trim just below the lid.
