Just for what it's worth. I have ran a Christmas auction for 6 years on the Canadian Wood Working Forum. I put a tool up for auction it runs until the 20th of Dec. The winning bidder donates the money to a local charity (ie church, shelter etc.) I mail the parcel at my cost as well. Not a large auction but we have raised over $900 across Canada.

I made something earlier this year just for this.
As of this time I am now teaching vets again. If you have any lumber scraps we can use them to glue up to make some bowl from a board which we have not done yet.. Thank You Everyone.
