I smell something very fishy here. Odd prices - not too far from retail. From a new member with only 3 posts.

Your chosen user name indicates there might be something 'funny'. [Image: yellowwink.gif]

In Wisconsin prices for tools in almost new condition will average 50% of new, however we are known as cheap bastages. No idea what is realistic in CA.

Judging by bob10's frequent PSA posts, realistic in CA is....FREE!

AHill's remark is reasonable. To allay some of the concerns, OP should post some shop photos showing the machines (some together) in addition to the links provided which give useful info about prices.

OP does ask to view/buy...that doesn't sound like a scam. Ask for a physical address (Google map to see the place), make phone contacts, go with a buddy etc.

At another forum, some bogus ads were removed by the moderators. But buyers beware no matter what you buy online. Trade in person, to be safe.

The forum handles have nothing to do with the legitimacy of a sale posted here or anywhere. A handle like "Good old honest guy" gives me no comfort about a sale by that guy as crooks can make up any name they want.

By the way, in real life, it is the one you know (or through someone you know) that could get you into a big financial loss because your level of guard is down. Not necessarily some funny boy.
