Since I am mounting a new fence on the saw I don't think it will make any difference. Either style should work with the fence.

If I am wrong in this assumption please correct me.

Thanks. I had seen this listing. It gave me an idea what I might have to pay for a used rail.

I found a 53" rail for $115 It took three days to get here from Maine.

Pieces all fit so now a trip to install it on my brother's Jet Supersaw. With he and I both working on this project it will probably take a few days. Individually a few hours would do the job. Something about talking too much
