Does anyone have a good source for buying drawer pulls and/or handles for cabinets...specifically made of Red Oak not just "wood"?  Also looking for a good source of premium 5/4 Black Walnut in 12' lengths....200 B/F.  Wall Lumber is a 12 hour round trip for me in Chesapeake, VA and my local hardwood dealer doesn't have much of a selection of Walnut and certainly not in 12' lengths plus their premium Walnut is going for roughly $9-$10 a B/F.

Do you ever come up into Md, specifically rt 301? If you do, http://maryland-select.com/index.html . There is also a good source in Fredericksburg, Va.
I no longer build museums but don't want to change my name. My new job is a lot less stressful. Life is much better.

It’s not a woodworking site, but my wife found a large selection of pulls at Overstock.com when we were remodeling our kitchen.

We found the pulls we wanted this time on Amazon, the last time at Rockler.com.

Have you got a lathe?  A skew?  You can make one in three minutes, just like you like.
