I have a box with 5 NOS Simonds narrow pillar files. These are no. 0 in 8” x 7/16” size. Very handy files with 2 safe edges. And they’re vintage made in Fitchburg sold

...Naval Aviators, that had balz made of brass and the size of bowling balls, getting shot off the deck at night, in heavy seas, hoping that when they leave the deck that the ship is pointed towards the sky and not the water.
