I have been using the "black" version of these "paint Pens" for a few months now and recently decided to try the "white" pens on darker woods..On my "plant tags", they have held up so well in the sun and weather that I don't use anything else..and they work equally well on woods...Available in many different colors and in fine or wide points..The one shown is a .7mm...fine..Can be sanded away very easily but wont rub off easily at all....About a dollar each on Amazon..You may want to give them a try..The paint dries in about two minutes..
