Hi all,
I picked up some African Teak called Iroko for end table tops for my living room. For my glue ups I cleaned the edges with acetone since the wood felt oily. I would like to just put a clear finish like General Arm R Seal in a satin finish. Do I need to do anything first? Is this a good finish to put on this? Any issues sanding this? I have real teak for a dining table that I finished with Westminster Teak Shield but that's not the look I want.
