Finally got my bench done that I started last winter.  Busy over the spring, summer and fall months racing bicycles, but the racing season wrapped in early November so I made it a goal to get it done before the end of year!

80" x 26" x 35 tall.  Built from the Benchcrafted plans with some slight modifications.  BC hardware is so smooth!  Really like it!

Hard maple and walnut accents.

Maple stringing in the leg vise.

Guessing around 350 - 400 pound.  It's a beast and rock solid!

Finished with Danish Oil.

And don't worry.....I'm not afraid to start adding "character" to it. After all, it's just a work bench

nice work! I finished mine about 2 years ago. It kinda hurts when the first dent is made in it but you get over it pretty fast!

Nice job. That first dent will hurt a little I'm sure...

If it can't kill you it probably ain't no good. Better living through chemicals.

I stand and applaud...really well done!
I started with absolutely nothing. Now, thanks to years of hard work, careful planning, and perseverance, I find I still have most of it left.
