Just finished up this end table for the girlfriend.
It's my own design, customized to fit a specific space.
It’s rift sawn red oak, puritan pine stain and gloss lacquer.

Nice!  I would not have thought to put the puritan pine stain on the red oak, but it looks good on this piece.  

I have some of that color stain in the cabinet, it's been there for years since I don't like the color on pine.  Now I see that it may get used...
