Interesting video of the last guy making ladders from trees.  A good mix of hand and power tools.  It's all in German, but you get the process.

I like his clamp to pull the rungs snug.  Very clever.

Great video.  Thanks for posting.  I've been to that area, and it is beautiful.  Too bad I wasn't there during cherry harvest.
