Yes, PC routers are gone.
Never knew a single speed 3 1/4 hp router existed. I would'nt think its a good idea.

None that I'm aware of (single speed big router)....yep; they killed off the router line, and pretty much the entire PC name.
I started with absolutely nothing. Now, thanks to years of hard work, careful planning, and perseverance, I find I still have most of it left.

New PC routers are gone for all intents and purposes. Ya might run across an orphan or two at a mom and pop or industrial supply house.
The used/ secondary market always has them though - from new in the box to rode hard and put up wet.

PC is still around, though limited.

Single speed 7500's have always been around. Here's a listing, may be just whats left. Dunno.

I have four (4) D-handle 7500 single speeds. Yes, D-handles. They were rare. Bought them through Graingers.
CPO is still around. Looks to be OOS on routers.

This digging around took 2 minutes.

The Revos apparently are designed to clamp railroad ties and pull together horrifically prepared joints

I know that PC made single speed routers in the 3 1/4 HP range. I used one. I used one when cutting aluminum in a tool and die shop. Yes, I am sure that Porter Cable routers can still be found. I was just wondering if they were still being produced of if they have gone out of production.
In these changing time I am certain that there are other manufactures that will fill the hole, But it is saddening anyway.
For me the $475.50 price tag is out of my price range now that I am on a fixed income. . But it does look like the brand is still around, but I didn't see any routers.
Again just curious is all.
