If you scroll down, you will find it. I got slotted spines from a friend. The key for the oval filing is the clamping of the spine:





I file close to the self made vise in the second picture. Since the pictures have been taken, I added a fine single cut file to the process. It leaves the surface so smooth, I can start with 240 grit sandpaper up to 2500 grit and autosol.

I own a manufacturing plant, fabricating parts from powder metal. About 70% of what we make, go into new vehicles. I have a complete machine shop in my facility, but doing what you do is a real labor of love!
