The key for the oval filing is the clamping of the spine: I file close to the self made vise in the second picture. Since the pictures have been taken, I added a fine single cut file to the process. It leaves the surface so smooth, I can start with 240 grit sandpaper up to 2500 grit and autosol. Take care Pedder ▼
