Removing rust stains from bluestone

LOML decorated our front steps with her beloved antique milk cans.  Now we have rust stains in the bluestone slabs.

Is there a product we can use to clean the stains without damaging the stone?

Barkeepers Friend and a scrub brush. Worked on my deck and porcelain tile porch. . Also Liquid Toilet Bowl Cleaner. Lots of products that should work

Have you tried white vinegar? You will probably need to keep it wet with the vinegar for a while.
