Hello once again everyone here is my latest piece "SCORPIUS"
This piece finished at 13" x 10" x 8" it was mostly turned on the lathe then steamed bent, carved cut apart reassembled and colored. Made from Curupau and Canarywood. The final finish is satin lacquer. I have photos showing this on the lathe and as I worked on it if anyone wants to see them please let me know. The Curupau  legs were dyed with amber alcohol ink to match the Canarywood.

Awesome Bruce!  As a kid, I came into "contact" with a few of these and it felt like they were about the size of yours.  

I have photos showing this on the lathe and as I worked on it if anyone wants to see them, please let me know.
