Making a bowl out of a red cedar dresser top for the people I work with at Air France to put in their office. The base features a cut out done on my new FoxAlien 4040 XE-PRO which was then filled with Alumilite Clear Slow resin. Segmented rings made from the same cedar top were then added as the sides of the bowl. After turning the project was sanded from 80-600 grit before applying Mylands Sanding sealer and polishing with Acks Woodpaste. The bowl was finally finished with clear acrylic enamel.

You’ll have a lot of fun with your cnc! Looking good for the first time.
The bowl in my avatar was made with a cnc.
