"Amphitrite's Bowl"

The turned bowl is partly segmented Walnut and the main body is Teak, after turning the rim was hand carved with a scalloped edge, it finished at 15" D x 4" Tall. I added a base that was first turned then cut apart and reassembled and carved to look like waves. I added two Dolphins and three Seahorses carved from highly figured Walnut. The final finish is Deft sanding sealer and a hand buffed Bees wax coat. The pieces final dimension is 15" D x 12" T

WOW! that is beautiful!
I started with absolutely nothing. Now, thanks to years of hard work, careful planning, and perseverance, I find I still have most of it left.
